Laura
Hi! My name is Laura. I am a Creative Director/Designer with a background of working within small in-house design teams and large scale agencies. Most recently I have worked hard at leading design teams in growing start-ups, pushing them beyond their potential. I have found that I enjoy building teams with great people, offering advice, and mentoring them as they grow as creatives. Over the last 5 years, I worked primarily with start-ups like BarkBox and Blue Apron. Recently I helped drive the creative launch of Tend Dental (a new dental wellness start-up in NYC - sounds crazy I know) as well as a new startup called Hive launching in fall 2020! Now, I'm working remotely as the Brand Design Lead for Getaway House, helping people connect back to nature in this digital-driven time. My husband is a Brewer at Meire's Creek Brewery in Cazenovia NY, so you'll often find me helping him brew, can, and taste test of course. We have a silly french bulldog named Charlie who keeps me company while working from home. He is currently enjoying all the things upstate has to offer, like jumping into leaf piles!
